Music and Art

As I'm sitting here thinking about what my next subject matter may be for some of my new paintings, I think about previous works I've done and the influence a certain song has had on the emergence of it's forms and the final completed work. The songs are ones that I selected, given a mood, a person, or whatever new song or artist might have been at the top of my playlist. To make this more interactive, I would be curious what songs you might suggest for background to a paiting. In this line of thought, then, the person suggesting the song, the song, and our connection, would possibly give form to the work. Give it some thought, reply here or privately, whichever you feel more comfortable with. Could be fun! Think about it!
