Artist Statement
In my art work I try to explore different themes. It seems as though, however, a common element in all of these is the connection between the human experience and the visual qualities of the art work. Some pieces explore a place, some pieces recall a relationship or a person, while other pieces evoke a story or narrative about life in general. In all pieces, I believe, there is an abstract quality about them that allows the viewer to make their own interpretations and relationship to the piece. That is my goal. Specific yet universal at the same time. I am thrilled to share a little bit about myself and my work.
